Faith Formation Catechetical Leader

Yolanda McKenzie was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to Florida in 2001. St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church was her first parish home, where her daughters received their First Holy Communion and where she was actively involved in Movimiento Juan XXIII and Renovación Conyugal.

After eighteen years away, Yolanda is grateful to return to St. Catherine of Siena. Throughout those years, she continued her professional and ministry journey, serving as an administrative assistant and educator. She spent eight years at Holy Redeemer Catholic School, teaching VPK, second, and third grades, and had the privilege of preparing students for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.

Her ministry experience also includes serving as a catechist, chaperone, choir member, and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, as well as participating in OCIA and the Emmaus Ministry. Today, she is blessed to continue her journey of faith and service at St. Catherine of Siena.

“After so many years, it is a blessing to be home again.”
