Comprehensive Youth Ministry
Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) encompasses the many ways a parish community accompanies and engages young people in the life and mission of the Catholic Church. It is a ministry for, with, and by young people, serving students in grades 8–12.
St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church follows the guidelines of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) for comprehensive youth and young adult ministries, including Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry.
Why Youth Ministry Matters: Youth Ministry plays an essential role in the life of the Church. In this time of grace, we are called by the Lord to accompany, support, and empower young people as they grow in their faith and discover their place within the Church.
It is an exciting and important time to be involved in Youth Ministry. Young people are seeking authentic relationships, meaningful experiences, and opportunities to encounter Christ and live out their faith. Through our ministry, we have the privilege of walking alongside them, helping them recognize God’s presence in their lives and encouraging them to become active participants in the life and mission of the Church.

Open to all students in 8th–12th grade who want to grow in faith, build friendships, and serve joyfully.

¡Estamos emocionados de dar la bienvenida a los adolescentes nuevos y los que regresan a nuestro Ministerio de Jóvenes!
